FUA and MUA Govt. is Sleeping Over the Anarchy

93663_4-ganta1.gif

It’s not their duty to protect people from those who violet the emergency rules. No one has been taken into custody, no one has been taken into remand by the DGFI to question who is behind it? Because the Govt is theirs and to only serve their purposes.

Figure it out!

DU Correspondent [Courtesy: The New Age]

Noted Pakistani writer Ahmad Salim has said that before the independence of Bangladesh the Pakistan government told the people of the then West Pakistan that the then East Pakistanis were Hindu due to their multi-dimensional culture.

Salim, a former professor of the Karachi University, said that in 1971 the people of West Pakistan were in the dark totally about what was really going on in the eastern part due to the false and malicious propaganda of the then military rulers of Pakistan.

Annual Report on Bangladesh by Reporters Without Borders

Reporters Without Borders LoggoReporters Without Borders has released their 2008 Annual Report on Bangladesh. Among their major concerns this year are the rise of the military government, the lack of freedom of press, threats to media personnel and the torture of journalists:

“A drop in the number of physical assaults and death threats was eclipsed by dozens of cases of arrests, maltreatment and censorship committed by the army against independent journalists. The interim government and the military put an end to political disorder but at the price of serious violations of press freedom.” [Read the full report HERE]

Human Rights Watch: The torture of Tasneem

In probably a first of its kind, we can now have a window into what happens when DGFI “picks someone up”. If this is not torture, what is?

Is this the human rights that our civil society gets paid to work on? How come not ONE local so called “human rights” organizations took this story public and where was our democratic cheerleaders?

It was expremely brave for Tasneem to have spoken out this way. We now know the reality of what happens in our Armed Forces and DGFI.

Shame on those who support these groups.

Please read full report on E-bangladesh.

Our Beloved country Bangladesh- we made a lawless country

What we have seen since one eleven of 2007, a country stands on mockery and lawless practices in the judiciary systems. As we all know that the judiciary system has been separated as its own independent body of the infrastructure in the government, however they are acting as they are still playing “Mary go around game” with the victims of the power alured so called dictators.

After one eleven people of Bangladesh thought they were saved, truly saved from the anarchism of the Bnp led Jamat Government, however the CG and it’s monster partners made such goblets and made wrong decisions that the people of Bangladesh is paying the high prices in every aspect of their common lives. We feel shame that we can not bring the war criminals to Justice, we find road blocks to honor our independence, secure democracy and find a secular state because we have to find a way to protect those monsters who dishonored our women, killed our children and killed the think tanks of our country for the sake of the keyes  to Haven!!! as they are the distributor of them. Until we kill these weeds of the nation from it’s root to the top we should be ashamed of oursleves as a nation and  the citizen of the country .Let us all promise to bring our nation together under the unity and with the courage of 1971″ the liberation war ”  and a clear vision to establish ultimate  democracy  to save our country from the Beast and Animals in the Name of religion.

The falling burnt advisers of a super failure Army backed puppet Govt

Here we see again how this Army backed Puppet govt is failing. It was high time for those looser advisers to leave the office as advisers and it shows the ultimate and immediate need of a free and fair election in Bangladesh to re-establish the democratic government.

This puppet government is trying to cut  a deal with Bnp and Jamat Led past govt to re elect them and put them into power so that their mis deeds will be rewarded and they will be forgiven, the People of Bangladesh is also now very cautious  about the political views and the governtments wrong doings as well.

So my suggestion to this government is, you have only one exit plan , which is to hand over the power to the people elected politicians asap and make sure the election is free and fairly held.If otherwise you need to save your own skin, becasue  no one will be responsible to save your skin likewise those four looser advisers who is asking for the security from the government after their resignations, as they know what they have done wrong,  so they need now the police protections.LOL it’s so funny!!!!!!

Genocide Seminar on Bangladesh: An Unprecedented Step at a US University

http://cie.kean.edu/~bdgenostudyPreface

It was a chilly evening with possible forecast of freezing rain or even snow on December 9, yet the 150-acre picturesque Kean University campus at Union, New Jersey was full of life with the presence of some 250 Bangladeshis from all over the United States and some 50 Kean University faculty and students. They all gathered for one cause: to attend an unprecedented seminar on the Bangladeshi Genocide of 1971 titled under “Bangladesh 1971: Intolerance, Violence and Genocide”.

This unique program is the first of its kind to be arranged, sponsored and hosted by a US university. Kean, the third largest public university in the State of New Jersey, has the most diverse student community, and is one of the very few institutions to offer a master’s degree in Holocaust and Genocide Studies. Kean University has one of the largest collections of oral history of the Jewish Holocaust in the State of New Jersey.

Dhaka University versus the Liars

This government is doing an amazing job making a total fool out of themselves.

The MUA part of the FUA-MUA equation has proven, to no suprise, to be the more powerful half.

After buckling under pressure, DGFI let the four Rajshahi University professors go. Then they lied about the President accepting their mercy petition. NO mercy petition was filed by the heroic professors’ wives. In an attempt to save their face, FUA-MUA’s circus team lied about this.

Then came the 4 DU teachers. Now they are desperate. Having lost the first round to the RU professors, they started fudging.

Advocate Masud Ahmed Talukdar, one of the lawyers, said, “An witness’s testimony given in another case filed over the same issue has been added to in this case, which is unacceptable to a court of law.”

I think this FUA MUA circus has gone off the deep end.

RU Teachers Jailed

by Tasneem Khalil [Reposted from E-Bangladesh.org]

In Bangladesh, mouths are not moving these days, it seems. Well, there are exceptions: tongues busy licking military boots stained with blood, tongues moving fast singing hymns for monsters in khaki. For the rest, 160 million men and women, putting a plaster over the lips is the fashion statement of the day, silence has become the best policy. Smartest policy, some say.

In post-1/11 Bangladesh: a human rights advocate is a criminal, an university student is a criminal, a professor is a criminal, a politician is a criminal, a democrat is a criminal, a jute-mill worker is a criminal, a journalist is a criminal, a tea-stall-wallah is a criminal, a cartoonist is a criminal, a garments worker is a criminal, a hungry survivor of cyclone demanding relief is a criminal… Read the rest of this entry »

Postpone Qurbani

This is a sincere appeal to the goodness of our people in Bangladesh and abroad.

Please postpone your Eid-ul-Adha sacrifices this year. Donate that money and your Zakat to any relief fund of your choice. You may even want to spend it yourself on the victims of Cyclone SIDR. Another choice is to buy a cow/goat and give it to someone who has lost it in the cyclone.

Allah will bless you for your kind deeds.

Share this opinion with your friends and family.
